This is the image I have in my head when I think about my trip there two weeks after this was taken...this captures it perfectly. Great photo!

Thanks - this was a moment of "taking it all in" after climbing Fremont Peak before the hike out the next morning. It felt like I was somehow saying goodbye to someone I had a deep admiration and respect for. I'll be back...

That's funny...I had the exact same feeling at about the same spot after coming down from Gannett. We're going back next year for some relaxed fishing and a climb of Fremont, Jackson and whatever else we get the mood for.
