A wintercamping with my Marmott Alpinist tent. A solo bivy on the Breithorn plateau. A beautiful experience all alone together with the mountains. Breithorn Central summit, Breithorn Zwillinge, Roccia Nera, Lyskam, Pollux and Castor.

A truly awesome place

to stay. I passed there a few weeks before you in very different weather, see here.
How long did it take you to dig the den?

I loved it! It was a great campingsite. I was lucky, it was almost already digged out!
The weather did eventually turn a bit ugly for me too. It shuts down fast up on the Breithorn plateau! :-)
