Woodland Ringlet

Woodland Ringlet (Erebia medusa) is a common butterfly from the Nymphalidae Family. It can be found in all elevations of the Bieszczady Mountains and the Low Beskid. It likes glades and pine forests. Woodland Ringlet flies from June to August and feeds on flower nectar. The caterpillars feed on grasses at night. Spinners Nature Preserve - Czarnorzeki - June 2008.
