Great colors and lighting. The saturation is incredible.Are those skeeters hitting, or is that just ripples in the water?

	Hasn't voted	It was some kind of bug... I wasn't experiencing any skeeters, however (I sat, crouched on a log, in the water, for about an hour waiting for the light for this shot). There were also fish jumping and biting for bugs when I was out there. It was a splendid afternoon.

I wish Yosemite was as easily accessible to me as it must be to you. I visited there for the second time this past summer (first time was in the early '60s), but was totally dismayed by the Disneyesque atmosphere of the huge crowds. It must be great to get into such beauty when there is at least some semblance of solitude. Thanks, Nefarius, for sharing that with your wonderful images! --mark d.

	Hasn't voted	Hey Mark, Thanks for the kind words! So sorry you can't visit Yosemite often. Even though I don't live in the park anymore, it's really my (second) home. I get a rush of euphoria when I pull into the valley (especially during fall and winter) as I know my friends are here, etc. Part of the reason I enjoy the later seasons so much is the the tourist REALLY think out during this time. However, even during the busy season, venturing off the roads, jsut a little bit will usually get you away from the average tourists. Thanks again!
