A hike along a ridge between Clear Lake and Borax Lake in the Northern California Coast Range
Recently moved up into the Mayacamas Mountains near Cobb Mtn. in the north Coast Range not far from Clear Lake. There are so many mountains around here! So I've just started exploring the area.Borax Lake is an archeological site on the other side of the ridge from Clear Lake. The high point is 2,025'. The ridge runs for about 2 miles along the southeast shore of Clear Lake where it connects with Sulphur Bank Ridge northwest of the town of Clearlake Park.
10 inches of rain last weekend should help the Cali drought but we need more!
