A trip along Clear Lake
Took a drive up the north shore of the lake (el. 1,326') on a beautiful spring day with poppies in abundance.

When I got to Nice at the northwest end of the lake I turned up Bartlett Springs Rd. all the way to within a short walk out to righteous views from Pinnacle Rock's east shoulder 4,500'. The views appeared to be even better than Pinnacle Rock itself 4,618.'
