Thanks Eric - you are so right - it was literally a dream come true... I'd always had ideas of spending the night on top of Mont Blanc, but especially the last decade, when I have actively tried too - but not had the right conditions... although having said that we still didn't really have the right conditions since we were caught in a thunderstorm! But as you can see, it had all cleared away by dawn - and this sight made the electric shocks from the lightning and getting cold and wet all worthwhile!
