Route Description
In summer:
Follow the unmarked path for 3 - 4 hours and you will reach the peak Omu. For 15 min. the path it`s in forest and after that you will reach a small canyon. After this canyon you will reach the second step of the valley with alot of grass. Between the second step and the third step of the valley you will climb an very easy rock section ( 15m, UIAA II). From this point you will have in front the peak Omu and the meteo station.
I advise you to have with you a good camera.
In winter:
You climb this valley only if you find good snow conditions because is a huge risk of avalances in this area. In ianuary 2004 have died 5 romanian climbers in a big avalance.
