First 14er summitted, continued on to Lincoln
Up demo and was heading towards Cameron when I noticed I was gonna be hit with an unavoidable storm system that lasted approximately 15 minutes. Woo!
Ran into a traffic jam on the way down. So many people now it takes all the fun out of hiking. Still a good hike though.
Started around 6AM, just beating the crowds. Perfect conditions along the whole route. Bross of course is a scree filled route down. Lots of gorgeous wildflowers. Back at car around 10:45AM.
Hiked in the late 90s, with the standard circuit of Democat, Cameron, Lincoln, and Bross.
Great climb where we bagged four peaks!

Carried some snow up to make a mini-snowman.
Nice easy 14er. Lots of good friendly people on the trail. Hooked up Cameron and Lincoln and skied the scree down, missed the trail I think. Great hike/run!!!!
Really fun hike, super windy but stunning views all around.
First if the standard Decalibron.
1/20/07- climbed the east ridge w/nellis for #10/100 in winter. surprising tougher route than we expected with the avalanche terrain beneath the saddle with cameron. the upper ridge was very icy, and rougher going than we previously thought it'd be.
9/10/05- scrambled the north ridge with tommy. fun, off the beaten path route. didn't feel like your stereo typical democrat climb.
Democrat. Cameron. Lincoln, Bross, So. Bross, very windy.
With Todd from Kite Lake Trailhead
Great Hike on a perfect day. Hiked with Kristin, Will, Ms. Bear and Mocha. Mocha's first 14er. Started out at 8:30 and back down at 12:30.
First Fourteener in CO, was a killer for me since I was in terrible shape, the weather got a little hinky when we got up but made it down before the storm broke.
DeCaLiBron, standard circle route. Bluebird day. Six hours and fifteen minutes from Kite Lake but my lack of climbing this summer meant I was pretty gassed by the time I hit the summit of Cameron.
despite the rain, and sleet, and snow, and wind.
