Mt. Crammont and the Tete...

Mt. Crammont and the Tete D'Arp (2740m.) as seen from the old village of La Trappe, on the little know Val Sapin, right above Courmayeur. This village was abandoned for 40 years, then it was recently restored respecting the old architecture. In winter is still not inhabited. A variant of the TMB passes from here. The stark profile on the far background is Mt. Berrio Blanc (3281m), one of the best, lesser know and most inaccessible panoramic point on Mt. Blanc. Picture taken Dec. 27, 2005.
