Turn Outs on the road... Car Dirt Bagger Camp/Bivi spots.

If you are looking for an established USFS CG, there are three in the immediate area.

Tioga Lake, Ellery Lake and Saddle Bag Lake/Creek CG's and scroll down to the Lee Vining Area CG's. Be advised that all three are "FIRST COME FIRST SERVE".

also there is the walk-in cg off the SBL road

How about camping near Bear Creek Spire?
Also, will we need crampons & axe around July 10th.

There's a walk in campground at Mosquito Flats. Nice one. I've heard it's supposed to be for holders of wilderness permits but I could be wrong about that and I've never seen it enforced.
