A couple guys and I are taking a pass at the DP on Saturday. It's going to be a speed hike/run sort of thing, so we are trying to balance how much water we bring vs. the time it takes to find water and filter it.
I hear Notch Lake is gross. Does anyone know if there's other water at 214? I considered stashing jugs there, but that adds logistical issues to an already long day. How about the other water sites, particularly those marked on the NYNJTC map 41? Are they flowing in this dry year?
