Fell on a #1 mastercam seemingly well-placed in a horizontal crack on sunday and it pulled. Broke my arm. Wondering if it had anything to do with this issue:

My Ladies Scarpa Manta boots are really making both achilles pretty painful. It takes an hour or so to come on, but after a days hiking they are actually swollen and tender to touch.
Am I doing something wrong with the lacing perhaps? I've tried tying them looser on the ankle and tighter on the foot, but I haven't noticed any real difference in the long run.

Does anyone else have this problem? My boyfriend ...
