Palisades Traverse 9/6

On Sunday morning 9/6 I met 7 people, in three groups, on the summit of Thunderbolt, who were attempting the traverse to Mt. Sill. They left Thunderbolt between 9:30 and 10:30, which I thought might be a little late. Has anyone seen a TR or have any information on their success??

I have some pix of a Canadian, living in LA, named John.

Hey there Hyadventure - We crossed paths that day as you were just finishing the descent of the chute. We had just started up. Fun day indeed!

That looks like the same person referenced in one of the pictures from a thread on the Whitney Portal Message Board. The person might go by Souloscrambler. I don't have any contact information and a search for that handle here turns up nothing here. Hey Hyadventure,

We were the last party of two you saw coming up Thuderbolt as you were rappeling down. We made it to Sill around 2:15pm. It was a great climb!

The group had some route finding issues on the way from Starlight to North Pal. Since it was getting late, they decided to descend a chute to the west side of Starlight.

You guys rock!!! You made it from T-bolt to Sill in 5 hours??? It took me till 3:30 just to get back to my car...
