La Rampa Route?

La Rampa Route?

Hey, We are going to be in Ecuador in Dec. hoping to climb Sur right around Christmas, does anyone know if La Rampa route is still climbable? I have heard a lot of different things concerning its condition. anyone climb it lately?

I was just there and did the normal route. La Rampa is not climbable right now. It is all rock.

Congrats on your climb.

It was rock this past July... I wonder if the route will ever come back or its another one to add to the history books due to climate change? Cheers!
