Looks like fun. I'm sure you guys rolled out the red carpet for her.

L, BTW- the licorice things were probably our biggest form of sustenance when we didn't want to reach out in the snow to get our food bag- addictive! The caviar certainly completed the breakfast bagels, too. Thanks again! Would love to hear what you did in SF, & your impression when you get a chance. Hope you enjoyed/are enjoying yourself.

What are those things on Lolli's hands? Gloves? And sunglasses? She's really gone Beverly Hllls on us now. . . Appears by Squishy's eyes that he's had a few, of somethin' . . .
Nice smile Dragger is wearing. And, Handjam is pulling the magic act for the camera. Great shot of all. Sp'ers' mixin' it up, showing Lolli a good time!
Welcome to Cal. Lolli! Wish I could've hoisted some wine with you all.

Good for the environment as well. Just burning the one candle, instead of loads of electric lights!

Where is our "Lol" today by the way?

I haven't played at being a tourist in SF for years! I used to love the cable cars, but also loved going to Chinatown. My FIL lives near Japan Town and it is also fun to walk around there before heading over to our favorite Sushi place.

Yes she did, and she found this beta helpful:
"Make sure you can descend back down the steep trail, before you take it up. While I'd still call it class 1, unsure or unsteady hikers may want to slide down on their rears, holding on to whatever they can."

Or... the lazy hiker...

I am the word's expert at sliding down steep bits on my ass! :D When there are other walkers around and they stare at me, my standard response is, "It ain't pretty, but it works!"

It is quite expensive though. Tore the ass out of another pair of waterproof over trousers doing it last week. May even have a cut on my ass where the rock went in! But I am not going to look to find out! LOL!

Back to the walk Lolli did where sliding was recommended. Can someone post a link to any web images of the walk please? I'd love to see what Lolli is getting up to. And to make sure I plan appropriate walks for her when I can drag her off to Wales again.
