Though I do go solo when I was doing that, it's against the bc ski rules, and if no one wants to do this, that seems to say something. You may look at many of my posts, I implore other locals not to be held down by the MLC SC, but I am refused. Rather than head out and explore, enjoy, and all, it seems most will stay home or just not climb anything! I think climbing and all is great, but then this is Northern CA, in the grip of the enviro group which seems to be unbreakable. Why they had to ban climbing, take that up with them.

I am not a normally resort skier, and unless I had a partner to ski the Tenth Mtn. hut system or something like that, I have no further great interest in skiing about CO. Besides, it's highly unlikely that I will get anyone for this, I've been asking and looking for the last 20 years!

Back when I couldn't just drive home at night, that's where we always stayed. Vail, Copper Mountain, Arapahoe Basin, Breck, Keystone, Loveland are all a short drive from there. Winter Park isn't too far either, but I wouldn't bother if you're there for 4 days. (I love WP. I just wouldn't drive there when you're right by the other areas.)

Thank you, Winter Park is the one closest to Denver if I recall. I haven't skied CO since the '70s.
