Why don't most AT boots come in large sizes. I know Scarpa does but I want some Dalbello Virus boots and the the largest they go is 29.5?

I bought size 30.5 Garmont Mega-rides from Backcountry.com. For whatever reason, the biggest size REI will get them in is 29.5

My brother has run into a similar challenge. He wears a U.S. size 15. Depending on the conversion factor that's like a Mondo size 32. I think he found a size 32 Scarpa model that is not marketed in the U.S. He's trying to find an overseas retailer to ship a pair to him. I'm not sure which model he found. I'll see if I can more details from him and post back.
