....I will be making some of those 3-day weekend runs to Denver in May and June...great time for Keiners if anyone is interested.

Is that an invitation or a suggestion? Also, I'm working on a petition to have 4000 vertical feet of crust removed from under Colorado to make the elevation less nausea-inducing, if anyone's interested in signing.

Thanks...Snowmass made for a great couple of days...despite the nasty weather.

FWIW...I had the worst headache EVER on our first day in Colorado when we were hiking near Independence Pass. I've never had a headache so bad... rest of the week was OK.

No offense to the Midwest but this is most likely the best "New" thing out there right now! :)

thats pretty cool but, I'm taking the winter off to rehab and let some old injuries heal. I'm thinking that this year will be stellar for ice and snow because I'm not going to be able to go and have fun in it.

You're not going to join us in CO this winter?? I'm going to make another try at Longs in March/April.

I get so excited when there's a new posting about the Midwest, only to find that they are all about *leaving* the Midwest to do something.

Please, people, let's talk about what's new in the Midwest, not the new things we are doing somewhere else.

I enjoyed fall colors backpacking in Tennessee this weekend. Is that Midwest? The accent is the same as southern Indiana.

easy bro. we need to take any post we can get here in the midwest but, I hear what your saying.

I had an awesome week sport and trad. climbing in southern IL. last week. I climbed my first 5.10b
it was on top rope but, I think I crossed a big barrier for me. The fall colors and weather were great.
