Aconcagua 2012 Partner or Costsharing Wanted

by joel1973 » Fri Apr 29, 2011 10:27 am

Hi everyone,

Im planning to climb Aconcagua in jan / feb 2012 and looking for partners och costsharing during this trip. The plan is Polish Direct or False Polish depending on the team. The normal route is also an option, Im flexible.

I have been on the mountain before in 2005 and had to turn around at 6000 because of the weather.
My experiance includes rockclimbing and high altutide alpineclimbing in Europe and Aconcagua.

The partners that im looking for must have expericane of alpineclimbing at high altitude, a good sence of humour and self-disciplined.

Is this You? Send me an email!

Best Regards
Joel Andersson, Sweden

I'm planning on December/January for this year. Haven't been higher than Mt. Whitney, but regularly do 14ers (American for 14,000' and above) in the winter. I would be trying to save money by not hiring any mules or guides or any of that superfluous nonsense.

I am looking to do a trip in December as well. I am a cadet at the Air Force Academy so I will have to get through some red tape before I could commit but sne dme a pm if interested.

I'll be in Argentina for Aconcagua from December 18th through January 6th, climbing with a friend.

Cool. I'm actually in Durango instead of CO Springs at the moment, but will be back on the Front Range come September. Perhaps we could do some winter mountaineering first?
