One of SP's members had all her toenails removed and the roots burned ... she said it was among the best decisions she had made.

Damn. Well... congrats on the solution man. I'll have to see if mine gets cold again once winter hits, as it was fine during the spring snow season.

update, I am telling you folks....now that I am in alpine season mode....(boots for long periods), unbelievable....climbing shoes are one thing, not everyone spends the time I do in climbing shoes, so having all of my toe nails removed might appear extreme, and specific use...however, I know many who strap on alpine boots every weekend....whoever tries to sell us modern humans that toe nails serve any viable purpose is full of it....I watched the doc remove them....I have access to battery acid...so if anyone wants a deal, I will do it for $50 per toe....make sure to reference this coupon code...DowOuch

other foot just more of the same...bottom line is my toes are less noticable now than they were when most of the toe nails were black...for those who care about aesthetics.
