Well , i wanted to thank anyone at all that has provided any and all comments and information to assist me in my determined goal of summiting Mt Whitney. I finally summited. It took 3 times, but i conquered it! I already had a LOT of respect for that mountain.....and i now have even more! I will posting a trip report shortly.....thanks again to everyone. I left june 27th from Shepherd pass trailhead and summited @ 330pm on June 30th.
