Arc'teryx ALPHA COMP HOODY

by aidin » Mon Feb 08, 2016 11:39 am

I'm about gearing up to climb Mt. Blanc in summer. I am looking forward to buying a shell jacket, and particularly interested in sth between a soft and hard shell jacket. Arc'teryx ALPHA COMP HOODY sounds great to me. I have done a lot of research but still I'm not sure if it would be OK for some harsh condition.

I appreciate any advice/comment on ALPHA COMP HOODY.

The comp will not keep you very dry for a long time in rain so if your worried about rain u better buy a hardshell. Why not just buy a nice softshell and enjoy the pros instead of buying a hybrid. Sure it will be less water and wind resistance than a hybrid but it will breath better and feel better on the body.
