First mountain route aged 7
Descended with my mother aged 7 as a 1st mountain experience of a career that thus far has continued for nearly 5 decades. Since that day I have been up and down the route several times.

Stumbled...
...along this one on the descent after climbing the Parson's Nose. Funny how you can feel so sure footed and strong on the way up a steep ridge, then nearly fall off a footpath several times coming back down

The most crowded route ever!
Climbed guiding a group of 11 (not everyone got to the summit). Very very crowded route (maybe thousands of persons on it!!) due to the fact that the way is well marked, not difficult at all. Very windy at the top and the ridge. Four and a half hours up and down in total from the Penny Pass parking lot.
I went up Snowdon two times: first up Miner's track and down via Y Lliwedd, then up via Crib Goch and down yia Pyg Track. Pyg track is lovely - very well marked and still of alpine character.
This track for me is the one I always choose if leading a group of competent walkers as its steadily climbs, unlike the Miners and isn't as long as the other main three routes. It has a bit of variation on the way rather than just a flat&even incline. Of course being the easiest route to Crib Goch makes it a must. For some reason I always find it longer than expected when using it as a decent route??

Just the once
My route of choice would be over Crib Goch, but I used this path during the first part of a "Three Peaks Challenge."
After this we went up Scaffel Pike, followed by Ben Nevis.
A bloody long day!!
