Overview
Red Mountain Pass Area is a popular back country ski destination. It hosts a variety of tours of different skiing abilities. Easy access and incredible scenery and ski conditions make the high peaks and wooded glades a winter playground.
Red Mountain Pass is located at elevation 11,018 feet (3,358 meters) along the Million Dollar Hwy.
The San Juans are known for their avalanches, so travel safely and always check for avalanche conditions.
