Rose Chafer

The Rose Chafer (Phyllopertha horticola) is an insect from the Scarabaeidae Family. It is also known as the Garden Foliage Beetle or Garden Chafer. The adult beetles are active flyers and feed mostly on leaves and flowers of plants from the Rose Family. Caterpillars feed on roots of grasses and other plants and live in the soil.
