Very cool!

The alps remind me of the Teton Range so much. I really want to visit Europe some day soon!!!!

Re: Very cool!

Thanks, Jackson!
Alps are extraordinarily beautiful. They deserve no doubt the journey! I've never been in the Teton but looking at the pictures the landscape is reminiscent of Mont Blanc group. Here the Alps touch the summit of grandeur, the high altitude is combined with the verticality of the walls. The Alps actually are composed of very different mountain ranges with very different landscapes. Western and Central Alps are mainly granitic, while the Eastern Alps are fully limestone, with lower altitude, but here peaks and walls show an unmatched verticality. So much so that Western climbers when climbing on the Dolomites are sometimes astonished by the extraordinary steepness of these mountains!
Cheers, Silvia
