The bergschrund
The bergschrund
... high on the SW ridge of Jatunmontepuncu.
An old trail lead to the right hand side of the ridge, but the bergschrund was impassable there. There was no trail to the left, but I didn't understand why. As it turned out, it was easy to pass there.
In the background is Ranrapalca.
