The house at the dam at Lago del Sabbione

This is home away from home for employees of the power company. I talked to the two men living there at the time, and they explained that the law in Italy required that the power company station people to keep watch at all the dammed lakes above 2000m. They took measurements and did some repairs, but I got the distinct impression that they had a lot of free time. It seemed an easy but lonely job to me. If I remember it correctly, they would stay up there at the lake for two weeks, then two others would relieve them. 25 June 2013.
