Re: Incredible!!!

This mountain is said to be the center of the world and so is Easter Island. Does it feel that way?

Great!

Have you seen the message on SP "News" Message Board that Chinese want to build a road around Kailash?

Re: Great!

I agree Vid, this is amazing shot, picture perfect. I can see it as amazing poster on sale in book shop! Road? That would be first class idiotism. Hearing word 'road' in the mountains makes me almost faint of huge negative emotion that overwhelms me. And reminds me of what forests service is doing on Velebit. They are outlaws, building roads wherever they like to exploit forest and no one can do anything about it. It is same in case of tourist exploitation, stupid governments and their profit making. Same is with people that want to have roads or cable cars leading to every single attraction? Do people out of this site know how to walk? Will anything remain preserved on this planet? Sick world.

Re: Great!

Yes, Sasa, same here above Bohinj! Road to every weekend hut below Prsivec. I felt like coming with a knife to make flat all those tires of 4x4 terrain cars. And there's a National Parc.

Re: Great!

Not that I like the idea of attacking 4x4's, but roads in places like this one should be forbidden. Not built.

Re: Great!

The same in Austria and if you go by mountain bike on these roads hunters will accuse you to frighten the wild animals.

Thanks a lot for your comment everyone

I heard a rumor like the followings.

Makes an airport near the town which is in the one day by car. Constructs a road. Sells the permit which tops this holy mountain.

I hope that the government make an effort to prevent reckless exploitation of natural resources.

Beautiful

Another one of the places I'd love so much to see...

Kenzo, you are a lucky man if you can see all these places - apart from an excellent photographer. Congratulations
