Did you feel well seeing those incoming clouds? Where dynamic shot, I really like it.

I kept a very close check on the clouds that day. The previous day a blizzard had hit the camp at 4700m and I feared this day would bring more rough weather. I rushed up and realized the bad weather of the lowlands didn't had the power to reach higher that day, even if it looked really bad a couple of times.

I know how you captured this incredible image looking down on the clouds: You hitched a ride in the space shuttle. I can tell because the top of the image reveals the black sky! ;-) --mark d.

It was a day after a blizzard. Lots of clouds formed lower down and tried to push up to higher elevations. They never reached higher than 5500m.
The blackish sky is my mistake. It was cold and very windy when I shot the photo and I overused the polarizing filter a bit. Too cold for removing the gloves.

Thanks for checking out the page and for the vote.

I was amazed by the views myself that day. So beautiful with all the fast moving clouds.

It was actually one of the most beautiful days I've ever had in the mountains. The clouds were moving so fast.
