This was a nice hike with my sister, Ema. These mountains aren’t very
big, their highest point is Ciomatul Mare at just 1301m, but with very nice
views. The Ciomatu/Csomád mountains is actually a single, huge volcanic structure
with two craters: Lake St. Anna and Mohos.

We stayed in Băile Tuşnad for the night, in a very nice and cheap
guesthouse. The people there usually speak Hungarian but they know the
Romanian language also. A local speciality is a delicious Hungarian cake called Kürtőskalács.

An easy and short hike that I’d like to recommend is a walk to the
Falcon's Stone - a protected area of andesite cliff 50 - 60 meters tall.

Re: have you visited

No :(. I was with my sister for 3 days, first day was rainy so we remain with two, not enough time to visit all the places and we didnt had a car... Next time, I bought a map of the area :).
