AT Signpost on Inadu
This must be one of the few summits that is also a trail junction.

Inadu Knob lies atop the Appalachian Trail in the Great Smoky Mountains. It's also a junction between the AT and the Snake Den Ridge Trail. The Snake Den Ridge Trail goes down to the Cosby Campground, a major trailhead in the Smokies.

Alternatively, after 0.7 miles down the Snake Den Ridge Trail you can switch to the Maddron Bald Trail and descend to the summit of Maddron Bald (yes, you read that right).

November 2007.
