| Used to romp around back here many times as a kid growing up in the aves. A neighbor once paid me twenty bucks to drag out a deer (utilizing a cheap plastic sled) that he had shot on the slopes up here. I was too young at the time to realize he had probably poached the thing. | |

| I've climbed this several times including at least once by city bus when my borther and I were 9-11 years old. We used to ride the bus and climb the foothill peaks (Ensign, Twin, Meridian) by ourselves. I also climbed the peaks with my other siblings and with my father on our way to Black Mountain on April 18 1998, which was the last time I was there. | |
