| Good warm-up with my new fiance. This was her first Colorado peak and first peak over 7,000 feet! Had some snow on the way down and got to see some impressive cornices on the west ridge of Flora. | |

| 4/12/08- slogged up colorado mines from berthoud pass in a windstorm with jamie. we made it halfway to flora before giving up and running home. whoa, it was windy; i was half expecting random rocks to fly across our path! 2/26/10- scooted over colorado mines on my way to the 13er, mount flora. area seemed the same way i left it 2 years prior as the wind and snow had teamed up with low visibility to make for a doozy of an outing. jamie | |

| Hiked up Colorado Mines, Flora and Breckinridge, and made an attempt at Cone, from Berthoud Pass following the Continental Divide Trail most of the way. Easy hike on a nice day, although dark clouds started moving in so we only got about half way to Cone before turning back. While the Trails Illustrated map shows the trail summiting Breckinridge, it skirts the summit to the north. | |

| 2 hours and forty minutes up, 1 hour down. Still alot of snow; I had snowshoes on from the parking lot to the summit. Afterwards, my cigarette tasted mighty fine! Muah! | |

| 2/4/06 - Started out a nice winter day at Berthoud Pass, but conditions were nasty up on the ridge. Climbed Colorado Mines, Flora and Breckinridge but decided to save Eva & Witter for some other (perhaps more pleasant) day. 2/28/10 - Return trip, this time in slightly better weather. Climbed Colorado Mines, Flora, Eva & Witter. Heavy snow fell on the descent and an avy later closed the Berthoud Pass road. | |

| The winds were a royal pain. Rkymtn and I had an otherwise enjoyable climb of both peaks. Snowshoes were needed to get above treeline. | |

| Beautiful day - except for the wind. Climbed with Haliku and another friend who left us to get some turns in while we climbed. The views are great and Flora gives enough of a different perspective to reward you for the additional work. | |
