Curious Fox

While we saw fox tracks inside Rocky Mountain National Park, we saw this guy on the outskirts of Grand Lake. He appeared to be somewhat accustomed to humans and has probably received a handout or two. Grand Lake did not appear to have strong garbage regulations in place to control bear and other wildlife issues in town. Photo taken Nov 14, 2009.

I bet your dog wasn't anywhere close for this little guy to runaway.

	Hasn't voted	Sadly, our dogs weren't with us for this short weekend trip -- they were back at home. I'm sure the fox wouldn't have been so calm otherwsie.

... in Granby. Grand Lake is a beautiful area, full of wildlife. I loved it!
We used to have a regular family of fox that we were able to watch.

	Hasn't voted	That was our first time in that part of Colorado. Great area. Next time we'll head into the Indian Peaks Wilderness. We avoided it that weekend because it was the last weekend of elk hunting.
