Desert Dreams 2008

Desert Dreams 2<font color=blue>0</font><font color=brown>0</font>8
In the gypsum-clogged washes of breccias and Bearpoppies, your voice can travel far on the wind. The Desert's wind is a silent one. If you see a colourful ridge shining in the sun, I will be there with my digital camera!

"If the sky that we look upon should tumble and fall,
And the mountain should crumble to the sea.
I won't cry, I won't cry,
No I won't shed a tear.
Just as long as you stand, stand by me.

- John Lennon (1975)

I'm wishing everybody hope and blessings for Spring 2008.

turned out great. It really shows the color of the area well. I also like this perspective of Northshore Peak. Thanks for posting.

Thanks - I like Northshore Pk better from this angle, too. Is that the east ridge route on Northshore Peak? It doesn't look like a difficult climb; just a few Class III stuff near the summit, right? I'm planning a trip out to Lowell Wash. I found the Sp-page and map for that one! Take care, - Larry (Will be getting more images and trip reports put together by the end of this month.)

Thank you, Ivona! I've learned that the HIGHER and FURTHER that you climb, the BETTER is the panorama. I've learned that from other Sp-members - LIKE YOU!!!!!
