Duchess did not want to come and sit on my lap... I guess I should have brought some cheese with me...Photo taken at Goosenecks, S.P., Utah.

Voted 10/10 | Trust is a great thing to have on SP!
I think we should ALL trust each other more. | | Posted Sep 10, 2009 1:05 pm |

Hasn't voted | hmm...trust is a difficult thing... I think I tend to trust people less and less...but yes, we should trust our climbing partners. Well written, Larry... | | Posted Sep 10, 2009 9:55 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Blushing ... thanks Liba!
But, I can't help but surmise ... if one of
your sandals had fallen off your foot and
landed in the San Juan River, would your
trusty climbing partner (Duchess) have
"retrieved" it for you ???
And yes, I have enough of a challenge trusting myself !!!
(Did I mention my great grandmother was
born in the former Czechoslovakia?)
Hahaha ... it's true. | | Posted Sep 10, 2009 10:09 pm |

Hasn't voted | Hi Larry, I would never guess that you are a fellow countryman... not exactly czech name - haha.
Duchess would completely ignore my keen sandal. | | Posted Sep 13, 2009 9:29 pm |

Voted 10/10 | While I was hanging out in southern Utah,
My dog Duchess caused a massive Brew-ha-ha.
Luckily, my sandals stayed upon my feet,
And I later rewarded Duchess with cheese and
meat. : )) | | Posted Sep 13, 2009 10:33 pm |

Voted 10/10 | If you think the answer I gave to my mother about mountaineering (...going up and down..) is funny, I just think the profile's image of you and your dog is even better...Congratulations for the composition.
A tip: cut and paste Duchess on your lap...Maybe so he doesn't matter to be on the edge. :-) | | Posted Sep 22, 2009 9:22 am |

Voted 10/10 | "Would you not sit next to me?"
Since the beginning of time, people have been
asking that question.
So many mountains ... so little time!
When you look at the big picture, life is
a mistress to the hands of time. | | Posted Sep 26, 2009 11:41 pm |
