| From southern Twin Island Lake, I contoured to south-east slope, then took class 1-2 route to the top. Found an empty register box at the summit. On the way back, I followed an unnamed stream that plunges down to the San Joaquin River canyon, class 2 at the steepest part. | |

| From Isberg Pass TH via Foerster. Descended into the Lyell Fork from Foerster to skirt Ansel Adams and climbed to the north ridge from Lake 10702. Left the pack behind and scrambled to the top. Great views! From the N ridge, dropped down the east side and bivied at ~11000ft near a couple of unnamed lakes. | |
