I have never heard of this area in Yosemite nor seen it on my map. I will look it up! Thanks :)

Check out this map. This camp was right below Simmons Peak above the tiny lake, at about 11,600 ft. Might be more comfortable to camp at the larger lake at 11,400 feet. Gallison Lake is also very nice and in a grassy area.
