Hasn't voted | Thank you! I appreciate the comment, and you have submitted so many superb sunsets of your own.
I was out taking shots of the sunset over the lake, and it seemed the show was over... went down to sit by the tent and 5-10 minutes later this appeared. Had to get back up, and it only lasted 3-4 minutes, but it was worth it. | | Posted Aug 9, 2011 12:27 pm |

Hasn't voted | Thank you so much for the comment. It was a great day... super climb in the morning, an afternoon hiding from the longest hailstorm I had ever been in within my tent, and then a nice calm evening.

Hasn't voted | Thanks for looking Mountainfriend. That evening, and the climb in the morning, really made the weekend worthwhile. Bad weather forecasts can yield good results! | | Posted Aug 9, 2011 5:39 pm |

Hasn't voted | I was lucky to have the moment too. I camped there two nights, and considered moving the second night to a nearby location just for a new view. In the end my sloth paid out and I stayed put. Thanks Roy.

Hasn't voted | Haha... I see what you're saying, but I was bundled up in all of my fleece at the time, surrounded by ice pellets from the hailstorm... | | Posted Aug 10, 2011 4:04 pm |
