| Best thing about this peak is the summit view towards the Pfeifferhorn. With a little bit of a zoom you can take a picture that reveals the entire winding trail. A neat little view. Also some nice views toward Lake Blanche, revealing a cute little hanging lake over Blanche which would make a fine spot to camp. | |

| My wife and I topped out Superior, and Monte Cristo with the Wasatch Mountain Club. Fast pace, and only got about five minutes on either summit as we were concerned by large cumulonimbus clouds to the south. The class 3 was a riot! Go Utes! | |

| Great hike! Not to long, but steep, scrambly, challenging, and incredible! Awesome views, and if you go during Oktoberfest, you can hear the music/yodeling from up there. :) | |

| This was the hardest hike to a peak done yet. my sister bruk and my dad started from alta, up to the pass, then up the rocky ridge to the top of Mt. Superior. We had planned on going further to the other higher peak, though dad said the weather was getting worse and Bruk was getting tired. We did go up and over Cardiff peak with the antenna on the way back to alta. | |

| Ran up the Cardiff Pass trail (as much as possible) from Alta to the Monte Cristo summit in 59 minutes and down in 48. The snow made for some slow going on the way down and I had a butt slide and a slide out coming off the summits that were too close for comfort---especially since I was alone. With the snow, I couldn't find the summit register---dug through the snow forever trying to find it, to no avail. Is there one? | |

| Also saw a lot of mountain goats and followed a group of 4 along the ridge from the summit of superior for a good 5 minutes. | |
