I paid $40 for these pants at Sierra Trading Post. Needless to say, I didn' t just buy one pair. These pants are very thick; that may be a drawback to some people looking to lose bulk in their pack, but these are the pants that kept me warm in West Virginia in December with a -35 F degree windchill (no long underwear or other under-layer used). I don't know if warm is the right word, but needless to say, I made it out okay. I wear these pants around town when the temperature is in the thirties and forties and actually sweat sometimes. They are also fairly waterproof. I wouldn't count on them for long periods of time in a torrential downpour, but they kept me dry throughout a day of off and on hard rain. They have a fleece lining on the inside which is super comfortable. I would reccomend these pants to anyone who cal still get their hands on them, especially for the outstanding price that I paid.
