This book has information on just about anything. Some of it is very common knowledge while other information covers topics that little is known about. I found it a great resource to just browse over certain topics. My coworkers liked it as well.

silversummitVery broad in scope!

A well intentioned relative gave this to me for Christmas one year but for someone who has been camping since age 7 I found no useful information. Even though it has tidbits of camping lore or old-fashioned wisdom here and there, I passed it on to a novice! He will use it more than I ever will.
