Glacier's Secrets Beyond The Roads and above The Clouds is a fantastic book by George Ostrom. This book chronicles "The Over-The-Hill Gang's" Thursday climbing trips into Glacier National Park in northwestern Montana.

According to Ostrom "The Over-The-Hill Gang is an informal group that averages 350 hiker miles each year and climbs over 100,000 feet in the process. Their median age (at time of writing) is 65 years old."

Never before seen photo and appropriate descriptions are found throughout this book as well as informative documentation on traveling in Glacier's backcountry.

Having had the priveledge to "accidently" climb with members of the "Over-The-Hill-Gang" I certainly must say that these guys are inspirational and I only hope that all of us can continue to do what the gentlemen and ladies in this book are capable of doing when we are their age.
