If you visit villages on Bjelasnica, you have chance to buy handmade woolen socks, which are part of traditional wearing.

Features

For hiking, the best are that white (natural color), simple, comfortable, cooling on hot and warming on cold weather conditions, sweat absorbing, outside-inside almost waterproof . They are a little bit rough, their gentle scratching improves blood stream (useful especially for those with bad peripheral circulation).

They are excelent
I said above what I think about this socks. My recommendation is to choose those who are knitted tight, and of firm spinned wool (more soft - more shrinking after washing). When you come in some of Bjelasnica villages (http://www.summitpost.org/mountain/rock/152177/bjelasnica.html), kind people will offer you coffee, and it would be nice if you buy some pieces of handmade traditional costume. You can buy them also in city, on market, even for less price, but you can't feel so good as up there.

... ipak ja ih ne mogu nositi do kože , moram imati neke (pamu?ne) da me zaštite od grebanja.
