Vision 25 / 35

Got the 25 liter version at about half price.



The carrying system is excellent - maybe a bit overkill for a 25 liter daypack, but perfect as I ended up logging several peoples water up Kilimanjaro - often with about 10 kg load. No hip, sholder or back aches. In comparison with the frameless Lowe Alpine Attack, this one carries so much better. 1.5 kg for a 25 liter back is a bit heavy, but since it carries well, this is a good choice for dense loads, such as water, climbing gear etc.



Having side pockets is handy, though these are not particularly easy to get to. Yet with a bit of practice, they can hold a one litre bottle or a jacket.



There is no 'snow fang' or whatever you call the second closing nylon on top of most rucksacks. This makes it very easy and fast to get into during a short break, but of course compromised its ability to keep snow or water out during a storm.



One thing that puzzles me is that it seems bigger than other 25 liter bags I've seen.

I can stuff so much more into it than my old 20 liter bag. If it wasn't for the number '25' bein embroded on it, I'd thought it was the 35 liter version. Maybe this is due to the lacking snow fang which means that you cannot 'overfill' it. Are other bags normally rated to when the fang is all popped out?



One annoying point is that the plastic thingies (pardon my lacking vocabulary for pack-components) for the sholder strap-adjusters does not keep the webbing well. So once it has been adjusted you have to re-trace the webbing back trough the thingy once more to lock it, after which further adjustment is tedious. Therefore this is not a bag to share between disimilar sized people. This is the main reason why I give it only 4 stars.

I have the 25 liter bag for about 7 years. The carrying system is very good, the bag is builded with very strong material, and that makes it a little bit heavy. A great bag for daytrips.
