How manysummits had Paddles the penguin bear tagged?

Re: How manyOh geez! He doesn't keep track like I do. Must be close to 30 summits this year, only a couple in previous years.
I could ask him to open a SP account to keep track, but I can't even get him to sign the peak registers!

Re: How manyAhh, the stuffed silent type. I doubt if the forum would carry much interest either.

Re: Who Cares! When I was much much younger, like in my teens, I used to carry a little bear, ZiZi, as in my hero, Walter Bonatti's ZiZi, up peaks. Now, I have no memory of what became of ZiZi!
Poor ZiZi, he must've turned to dust by now.

Re: Who Cares!I'll have to dig through my very old B&W pix, but I doubt I still have a photo of ZiZi. I used to use a safety pin to attach it to my pack.

Re: Wonderful bear!Paddles is even more picky about partners than I am. He won't climb with anyone else, only when I am lacking another partner. So he doesn't get up all the mountains I do, but certainly gets most of the more remote ones. And he never backs out of a trip either!
