Peruvian Smiles ;)

Hiked to the "beaches" from North Gate parking lot. Made basecamp. Great view. Ascended the Bolam glacier to the summit, 7.5 hrs. Be kind it was my first glacier. Came down the glacier to the west of Bolam crossing a large crevasse field. Jumped my first crevasse, about a 5'or 6' drop. The crevasse was a good 80 yards long, you could spot it from the road! My friend and guide, Chris also taught me the pig rig. I can successfully extract a summo wrestler from a crevasse now! Made a new friend Mike. Peruvian smiles. ; )
