Looking for climbers in Mammoth/Bishop Area

by mammothseale » Wed Oct 02, 2013 6:55 pm

Hello,

I am looking for someone with experience to accompany me on a mountaineering expedition. I have a harness, shoes, but I do not have a rope/other necessary mountaineering gear. I would like to climb bear creek spire or something similar. I love to boulder, I am in shape and I can comfortably lead any 5.9 bolted route. Please let me know if this is something you would be interested in. I would love to get out there and explore new areas!

Thanks

Hmmmmm...You can't/don't lead trad or own any mountaineering equipment? And what constitutes an "expedition"? BCS is alpine Disneyland; go climb the Kaweahs.

Negative ghost rider. That is exactly why I am looking for someone to go with. "Expedition" is just the term I decided to use. This could just be a day trip or up to two nights. Kaweahs looks cool but it's in Sequoia. I live in Mammoth Lakes so I am looking for something close... i.e. between big pine and yosemtie.
